The Winner and my new project
Hi all,
We have a new recipient of the Traveling Stash box # 4....... Vroomans Quilts
In our age of technology..... I went old school.... put the numbers in a bowl and chose one... Yeah I know.... Old school but it works... Congrats on your win....Sharon I will be sending the box soon.....
My new project.....
a few blocks done.....
These are for my girls.... yes I will split it between two of them....
Going very quickly... 2 jelly rolls that i got from Joanns, when???? Long time ago...
But still have quilts to finish and since I am a hand quilter they don't seem to get done very soon.... but I am trying to teach myself machine quilting.....
I received 5 tops from the Tucson Quilters Guild and I will practice this weekend..... I am hoping... Then maybe I will be confident enough to quilt all the tops I have not finished!!!! Hoping and Hoping......
Have a great weekend..

Calling all quilters!
Good Morning
While browsing the blogging world last night I came across a request from one of our fellow bloggers. "Missy's Homemaking Adventures" Her plea to all quilters really touched my heart!
Missy is in Mansfield Texas and has made a call out for help to make pinwheel blocks for a very special little girl named Kenzie.
I will be working on a few of these tonight to help her out.
Anyone else interested???? Please hop over to Missy's blog and read her request, I know it is short notice but I hope others can help.
I did go through the Traveling Stash Box last night, lots of petting and panting, I will have pictures soon.
Happy Quilting!!!

Super Bowl Sunday
Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by!
What did you get to do for Super Bowl, I watched most of the commercials, the Budweiser Clydesdale's are my favorite every year. My dear hubby watched the game and I listened while I put the binding on my Son in Law's quilt. Last weekend I finally got all the blocks together and now it is ready for the frame.
Do to an unfortunate accident..... (Me & the dog) I have not opened the Traveling stash box yet, but plan to very very soon, hopping tonight..... You can find the information here
Our 45lb bulldog took a flying (and I mean flying) leap at the patio chair..... guess I should have not have had myself turned and standing next to the chair!!!! She hit the chair, that hit me in the ribs. Low and behold I am a lot sore and cant pick up much for a few days...... We will see how that goes.... Been to urgent care, x rays are OK but doc wanted me to go to ER..... Since I have a heart condition they tend to freak out... I will think on that one for a few days.....
Anyway here are a few pictures of Brandon's quilt top finished (the son in law) Hope to get quilting on it soon.
Thanks for stopping by, Happy Quilting!
